Before I get the introductions started, welcome and thank you for visiting Black Hole RPG. Now, that you're here, you may be wondering exactly what this place is. Well, Black Hole RPG is a forum-based RPG website that has been going on since 2003. During that time, we've gone under quite a few changes, additions, subtractions, multiplications, divisions, renovations, educations, alterations, indications, megarandomizations, etc, etc. [By the way, I made up that last word.] In any case, welcome! Now that you're here, what kind of person would I be without giving you a proper tour of the things to do?

1. Register:
All right, it may seem obvious, but the first thing you may want to do is register so that you can begin participating in the activities here. As one of our uber GMs said: it's quick and relatively painless.


2. Check Out the Games:
Once you've registered, why don't you check out the games we have to offer? After all, we are a forum-based RPG website, right? There's plenty to see and each of the games have their own little section describing the rules and settings for each game. And of course, there's more than just the games to be seen once you've registered:

The Random RPG Board:
This is the Random RPG Board and quite true to its name, it has an assortment of random roleplaying games for your amusement. There's no character applications or anything required, really. You come in, jump into one of these small RPGs, and have fun. And if you don't find what you want, you can always just make it yourself.

Mini RPGs!:
This board is a slightly updated version of the Random RPG Board. The game is started by one character who plays the role of GM for that game and it has a basic form or application to be filled out to join in. Applications go to the OOC or 'Out of Character' section of the Mini RPGs! while the actual games being roleplayed go in the IC or 'In Character' section.

Black Hole RPG:
The original RPG and the namesake of the website, now in its third season, this is a Sailormoon inspired RPG. The Senshi and others have been thrown into an alternative dimension and must fight to survive while trying to figure out what happened.

Angelic Layer Alternative:
Inspired by the anime Angelic Layer, here you can battle with small mechanical dolls called angels. Try to become the national champion!

Pandora's Future:
In a distant future, war rages on a tiny planet, a war between magic and technology! Wield powerful spells or devastating weapons to fight for control of the planet!

Crystal Bots:
Still under development, Crystal Bots is set in a small world of islands. Magical crystals exist on these islands and when combined with a body, they make a Crystal Bot! Make your own unique Crystal Bot to battle, train, and make friends!

Skies Over Lemoria:
The newest addition to the Black Hole RPG roster where you create your own country in the land of Lemoria. Control your own country with your own politics, policies, and ways of life. Live in peace or duke it out with your neighbors.


3. Join a Game:
Now that you've registered and checked out the games, wouldn't it be nice to join one? Choose whichever you want and join in. For the Random RPGs and the Mini RPGs, just go ahead and jump in. As for the other games, there's an actual application approval process to make the games more enjoyable for its players. Simply read the rules of the game you're interested in and then post an application in the appropriate section. From there, your application will either be accepted or you'll get a PM asking for a revision in your application. Once you've been accepted into a game, just do as you would do in a Random or a Mini, just jump right in. Get into the thick of things and start causing chaos with the rest of the players.

You can be in as many games or as few games as you want. You decide. Just read the rules and follow them.


4. Enjoy:
The most important part of Black Hole RPG. We're open for everyone and anyone who wants to take a peek inside. Despite us being an RPG site, there are other things to do. [Shocking, isn't it?] For example, come stop in the OOC board for some random posts and postings. Take a part in the player war using the Army System. There's a Live Chat feature if you want to chat with the friends you make here. Show off your talents via the Art Corner and the Writer's Haven. If you have any problems or questions, you can always post something in the 'OOC Board', PM me, or PM our uber GM Juana.

This entire place was set up for you to have fun, so come in and have fun. We'll oblige any time. XD
